We have organised a few virtual events to keep our school community together whilst we are apart.
Mr Chambers organised a brilliant Virtual Sports Week 2020 and your efforts can be seen on the special page dedicated to this under this pencil.
Virtual Arts Week 2020
Hello you lovely people!
It’s competition time!
We have been having a think in school about how we could do a community art project
We know you’re all very creative (we have seen the costumes at Halloween and eggs at Easter) and we know you’re all very competitive! So we’ve been having a think about how we can get those creative juices flowing.
What we thought was that we’d have an art competition!
We want your entry to be in the style of Andy Goldsworthy, I will attach some information and pictures for ideas. He uses natural materials that you find outside to complete his art work.
Here is a short video for you to watch https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zs87tfr and if you google ‘Andy Goldsworthy artwork for kids’ lots of ideas come up.
Art competition rules…
1. All artwork should be completed using natural resources that can be found outside e.g. leaves, flowers, twigs etc.
2. All entries should be emailed to the school office by Sunday 12th July
3. Have fun and get creative!
All you need to do is to send a picture of your artwork to the school office email…
The names of all children who send in an entry will be entered into a prize draw and names will be picked from a hat. There will be one big prize and several runner up prizes.
Can't wait to see the entries
