Message from Bolton Music Service

Dear Parent/Carer

At Bolton Music service we are currently devoting time to ensuring contact is maintained with our pupils, supporting them to continue practising and making progress whilst at home. In the first instance, our teachers will email you regularly with guidelines and tips to continue making progress until face-to-face lessons can return. They will also provide links to our online resources and videos.

It would make a huge difference to your child’s progress if they were able to continue to play and practise their instrument at home at this time.

The Bolton Music Service instrumental teachers at your child’s school are below. Please do contact the relevant teacher by email in the first instance so they are able to maintain contact with you and your child:

Maxine Kay – Recorder/Woodwind (

Mike Ciaputa – Guitar (

Emily Matthews - Vocal (

Meanwhile, if you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to contact us at

We look forward to hearing from you very soon.

Best wishes

Daniel Chandler
